We're now scaling our brand and content across all our products, and we're looking for a creative editor who understands how to produce engaging, high-retention short-form videos.

Full-Stack Mobile Developer — React Native (Xcode & Android Studio) + Local Server & Python Automation/Scraping 

We are hiring a full-stack mobile developer to build and maintain our React Native application. The candidate must have hands-on, proven experience building and compiling apps in Xcode (iOS) and Android Studio (Android) — this is non-negotiable, as the role involves native builds, debugging, and app store submissions on both platforms. The candidate must also have good, well-spoken English and be comfortable communicating clearly and confidently in daily calls and written updates and in addition, the candidate must be able to build automation and scraping tools, primarily in Python, to handle recurring data collection and website interaction tasks outside of the core app work.

The role also requires setting up and maintaining our in-house local server — this is not a cloud VPS, so the candidate must be comfortable configuring a physical/on-premise Linux server, including secure remote access (SSH/VPN) for development. This server will run AI coding agents such as Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex to support the development workflow. Beyond the core app, we periodically need automation and web scraping scripts written in Python — including browser automation tools (such as Playwright or Selenium) to interact with websites, extract data, and handle repetitive tasks. This is an ongoing, recurring need, so the candidate should be someone we can call on for these tasks even after the main app is built.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain an in-house local server (Linux-based) — including secure remote access (SSH/VPN), uptime, and basic hardening

• Install and run Claude Code and/or Codex CLI on the local server for AI-assisted development workflows

• Design, build, and maintain a React Native app (iOS + Android) from existing specs/wireframes

• Configure and manage Supabase as the backend (auth, database, storage, edge functions, real-time subscriptions)

• Handle native builds and signing for iOS via Xcode and Android via Android Studio

• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and store submissions (App Store / Play Store)

• Write Python automation scripts for recurring tasks as needed (data scraping, browser automation, data processing)

• Build and maintain browser automation workflows in Python (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) for scraping and interacting with websites (logins, forms, repetitive tasks)

• Schedule and run automation/scraping jobs reliably on the local server (cron, error handling, logging, proxy/anti-bot handling where needed)

• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required

• Debug and resolve platform-specific issues (iOS/Android)

• Document server setup, scripts, and deployment process in clear English

• Communicate progress clearly and regularly (daily/weekly updates) with the founder

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with React Native (published apps on App Store and/or Play Store preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio for native builds, signing, and troubleshooting

• Hands-on experience with Supabase (Postgres, RLS policies, auth, storage, edge functions)

• Ability to set up and manage a local/on-premise server (Ubuntu/Linux) — not just cloud VPS — including remote access (SSH/VPN)

• Familiarity with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex (or similar AI coding agents) in a server/CLI workflow

• Strong Python skills for automation and web scraping (this is a recurring, ongoing need — not one-off)

• Hands-on experience with browser automation tools (Playwright or Selenium preferred) for interacting with dynamic websites

• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Fastlane, EAS, or similar)

• Understanding of App Store Connect and Google Play Console submission processes

• Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal (strict requirement)
