Chef De Partie

We are looking for an experienced DCDP to join our café kitchen team and take responsibility for smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle assigned kitchen sections during service
• Prepare and execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation
• Manage daily mise-en-place and ensure readiness before service
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and food quality
• Supervise and guide Commis chefs and junior kitchen staff
• Monitor ingredient stock, storage, FIFO and daily requirements
• Control food wastage and portion sizes
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
• Coordinate with the Chef, bar and service team during operations
• Support opening/closing procedures and kitchen inventory
• Take responsibility for the section in the senior chef's absence

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of relevant kitchen experience
• Strong café/continental kitchen experience preferred
• Comfortable with pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, eggs, salads and café-style dishes
• Good understanding of food safety, storage and kitchen operations
• Ability to independently manage a section during busy service
• Responsible, punctual and a strong team player
