PCB Assembly Technician

PCB Assembly Technician — Job Description  We are looking for a PCB Assembly Technician responsible for assembling, soldering, reworking, inspecting, and supporting the testing of electronic PCBs and assemblies used in embedded and UAV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SMD and through-hole component soldering and PCB assembly.
• Perform component replacement, PCB rework, and repair using soldering and hot-air stations.
• Assemble fine-pitch components, connectors, wires, cables, and electronic modules.
• Inspect assembled PCBs for solder bridges, dry joints, incorrect polarity, component orientation, and assembly defects.
• Read PCB assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, and component markings.
• Perform basic continuity, resistance, voltage, and short-circuit checks using a multimeter.
• Support engineers during PCB bring-up, testing, debugging, and prototype development.
• Perform wiring, crimping, connector assembly, and cable-harness preparation.
• Follow ESD-safe handling and good electronics assembly practices.
• Maintain assembly, rework, and inspection records.



Preferred Skills: 1–3 years of hands-on PCB assembly experience, strong soldering/rework skills, familiarity with SMD components and lab equipment, attention to detail, and experience working with prototype or low-volume electronics.
