Automotive Service Advisor

About the Role

We are looking for a Automobile Service Advisor with strong automotive knowledge and excellent customer-handling skills. The role involves vehicle inspection and valuation, customer engagement, dealer onboarding, and field-based activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cars, including different makes, models, and basic mechanics, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and assess their overall condition to identify potential issues.
• Evaluate vehicles and provide accurate valuations based on their condition and market factors.
• Maintain strong knowledge of different car makes, models, features, and mechanical aspects.
• Stay updated with developments and trends in the automotive industry.
• Connect with customers, understand their requirements, and present suitable selling propositions.
• Engage with customers and convince them to sell their vehicles based on Cars24's valuation.
• Identify and onboard new car dealers onto the platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing dealers.
• Conduct customer meetings, dealer visits, and vehicle inspections as required.
• Travel across locations for customer/dealer meetings and inspection activities.
• Use a personal two-wheeler for field travel.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Any Field.
• Minimum 3+ years of prior experience in automotive retail, vehicle inspection, automobile sales, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of car makes, models, and basic vehicle mechanics.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-oriented and comfortable working in a field-based role.
• Detail-oriented and capable of accurately assessing vehicle condition.
• Results-driven with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Valid 4-wheeler driving licence.
• Comfortable driving both manual and automatic cars.
• Own two-wheeler is mandatory for field travel.
