JOB DESCRIPTION | LEGAL HEAD
Department: Legal & Compliance Location: Hyderabad
Reporting To: Finance Head / Management Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: LLB / LLM Business: Pan-India IT Asset Rental & Leasing
Job Summary
• Lead legal documentation, contract management, litigation, regulatory compliance and legal risk management for the company’s
IT asset rental and leasing operations.
Key Responsibilities – Agreements & Contracts
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize rental/lease agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements and addendums.
• Ensure agreement execution before delivery, except management-approved cases; monitor renewals, expiry and lock-in
obligations.
• Review termination, indemnity, arbitration, asset recovery and financing/receivables assignment clauses.
Litigation, Recovery & Risk
• Manage legal notices, payment recovery, arbitration and disputes involving asset damage, loss or non-return.
• Coordinate with external advocates; maintain case tracker, deadlines, legal risk register and escalation reporting.
• Support statutory audits, due diligence, banking documentation and applicable corporate and commercial compliance.
Legal Department Leadership
• Lead legal associates, assign tasks, implement SOPs, approval matrices and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Operations, Finance and Collections; report critical legal issues to management.

Standard Agreement Draft TAT Within 3 working days
Legal Notice Issuance Within 3 working days after approval
Legal Case Tracking 100% cases updated

Legal Risk Reporting Monthly MIS to management
Required Skills & Preferred Experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian contract law, commercial litigation, arbitration, recovery and legal drafting.
• Excellent negotiation, dispute resolution, team leadership and legal MIS skills.
• Experience in IT asset leasing, NBFCs, banking or corporate commercial contracts preferred.
