Job Description
- Install, configure, test, and commission home automation systems, including smart switches, touch panels, sensors, curtain motors, smart locks, and lighting controls.
- Execute electrical wiring, termination, and connectivity work in accordance with approved drawings, safety standards, and installation procedures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical documentation.
- Configure and troubleshoot smart home ecosystems, including Tuya Smart Life, Zigbee, Matter-compatible devices, and other automation platforms as applicable.
- Install and configure networking equipment, Wi-Fi routers, CCTV systems, IP-based devices, and access control solutions.
- Monitor installation activities at customer sites to ensure compliance with SOPs and approved project requirements.
- Identify and resolve electrical, wiring, connectivity, and device configuration issues while minimizing installation errors.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and service visits to ensure reliable operation.
- Document installation progress, technical deviations, service activities, and equipment usage accurately.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the technical support or project management team and coordinate their timely resolution.
- Demonstrate system functionality to customers and provide basic training on mobile applications, device operation, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials responsibly and report inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, interior teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
- Travel across Hyderabad for project installations, inspections, and service visits.
