Job Description
Restaurant Manager — Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Ensure customers receive friendly, fast and professional service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues appropriately.
- Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards.
- Check table cleanliness, ambience and overall customer experience.
- Collect customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate between kitchen and service staff during busy hours.
- Ensure correct billing and smooth payment handling.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain daily stock records for food, beverages, packaging and cleaning materials.
- Check incoming stock for quantity, quality and expiry dates.
- Monitor daily consumption and wastage.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts.
- Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels and prepare purchase requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and verify deliveries.
- Prevent unnecessary wastage, theft and over-ordering.
