Job Description
- Solar Cleaning & Maintenance ResponsibilitiesPerform solar panel cleaning, preventive maintenance, and routine inspection at residential and commercial rooftop solar sites.
- Complete a minimum of 6 sites per working day for cleaning and maintenance, subject to site distance, accessibility, weather, and job complexity.
- Inspect solar panels, mounting structures, cables, connectors, inverters, earthing, and electrical protection systems.
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and suitable-quality water to prevent panel damage, stains, and performance loss.
- Identify faults, loose connections, physical damage, and abnormal system performance; report issues to the supervisor.
- Capture before-and-after photographs of every site and update the maintenance checklist and CRM/job sheet.
- Record customer feedback, work completion status, additional repair requirements, and follow-up visits.
- Maintain proper use of cleaning equipment, electrical tools, PPE, and safety harnesses.
- Report any additional material or repair requirements and obtain approval before performing chargeable work.
