Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and approach potential customers through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and other sales activities.
- Generate new leads and convert them into customers.
- Conduct regular market visits and meet prospective and existing clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/services.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Follow up with leads, quotations, and prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and customer support.
- Prepare regular sales reports and share updates with the reporting manager.
- Ensure timely collection of payments, where applicable.
- Requirements1–3 years of experience in field sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Customer-oriented and target-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and/or CRM software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence preferred.
