Job Description – Sales Executive (DigiDukaan)

About DigiDukaanDigiDukaan is a digital ordering platform for kirana stores. It helps retailers order products from multiple brands and distributors in one app. Retailers can see live prices, offers, product catalogues and place orders anytime without waiting for a salesperson. More than 10,000 retailers and 35+ brands have already joined, with many more brands being added.

Your RoleYour responsibility is to visit kirana stores, explain the benefits of DigiDukaan, onboard retailers, complete KYC, train them to use the app, and most importantly ensure they regularly place orders through the app and convince them to pay service fee to Qwipo

Key Responsibilities·       

• Visit General Trade (GT) retailers every day.
• Onboard new retailers onto the DigiDukaan app.
• Complete Retailer KYC and activation.
• Demonstrate app features, schemes, live prices and product catalogue.
• Help retailers place their first order.
• Follow up regularly and ensure weekly ordering.
• Encourage retailers to order from as many distributors as possible through the app.
• Convince the Retailer to pay the service fee (per order charge) to Qwipo
• Build strong retailer relationships and solve adoption issues.

Key Challenges

• Changing retailer buying behaviour from phone calls and salesperson visits to Digidukaan app-based ordering.
• Ensuring retailers continue ordering every week, not just after onboarding.
• Increasing orders across multiple distributors and brands.
• Retailers are very reluctant to pay charges for using the app, need to convince them to pay Qwipo service fee

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

• Onboard new retailers every month.
• Complete 100% KYC for onboarded retailers.
• Ensure retailers place orders every week. (500+ orders per month per retailer)
• Ensure retailers pay the Qwipo service charges regularly
• Ensure retailers place orders to at least 60% of the distributors available on the app.
• Drive long-term retailer engagement and repeat usage.

Who We Are Looking For·       

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience (FMCG/General Trade preferred).
• Excellent communication and convincing skills.
• Highly motivated and driven sales person
• Passionate about helping retailers adopt digital technology.
