Position Title: Jewelry CAD Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Designer to create precise 3D models and production-ready digital files for our custom and production jewelry lines. You will turn design concepts, sketches, and reference images into accurate CAD models suitable for 3D printing and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate rough sketches, 2D renderings, and specifications into detailed 3D CAD models.
• Ensure precise dimensions for stone settings, tolerances, metal weights, and structural integrity for casting and manufacturing.
• Prepare CAD files for 3D printing/wax prototyping (STL files) and oversee the prototyping process.
• Modify and iterate existing designs based on feedback from the production team or client requests.
• Collaborate closely with bench jewelers, stone setters, and design teams to ensure seamless manufacturing feasibility.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in jewelry CAD design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in jewelry-specific CAD software (e.g., MatrixGold, RhinoGold, Rhino, or CADJewel).
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing, stone setting techniques, metal properties, and casting processes.
• Portfolio: A portfolio or portfolio link demonstrating technical accuracy and creative design capability.
• Education: High School Diploma / 12th Pass minimum; diploma or degree in Jewelry Design or CAD Modeling is a plus.
