Retail Sales Executive-in Store

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for customer engagement, product presentation, sales conversion, relationship management and achievement of assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities·       

Attend to customers and understand their requirements, preferences and concerns.

·       Explain product features, specifications, benefits, pricing and available offers to customers.

·       Provide accurate product information and appropriate guidance to customers.

·       Actively approach customers and convert enquiries into sales.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

·       Follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate sales.

·       Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.

·       Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.

·       Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards store revenue.

·       Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling of products.

·       Support and promote outdoor business opportunities wherever required.

·       Maintain proper product display and ensure products are placed appropriately.

·       Conduct regular checks on price tags, product placement and display.

·       Keep updated about products, offers, promotions and competitors.

·       Identify potential business opportunities and prospective customers.

·       Understand market conditions and recommend opportunities for improving sales and service.

·       Work closely with the team to achieve overall store targets.

·       Provide post-sales support and maintain customer relationships.

·       Contribute to team efforts and perform other sales-related responsibilities as required.

Candidate Requirements·       

Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Retail Sales Executive, Sales Associate or similar role.

·       Prior retail industry experience.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Proficiency in English.

·       Basic knowledge of MS Office.

·       Good understanding of sales, marketing and negotiation techniques.

·       Customer-oriented approach with good convincing skills.

·       Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.

·       Fast learner with a passion for sales.

·       Self-motivated and results-driven.

·       Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets.
