Candidate having pervious experience in Automobile Workshop, Factory Shop, will be preferred.

Job Title: Workshop Floor Supervisor

Department: Service Workshop

Reports to: Service Manager / Works Manager

Role Summary

Oversee day-to-day operations on the workshop floor, making sure every motorcycle is serviced and repaired correctly, on time, and to Honda standards. The Floor Supervisor leads the technician team, manages job allocation, and keeps the workshop running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate job cards to technicians based on skill, workload, and priority, and track progress through to delivery.
• Monitor work quality, carry out final inspections and road tests, and ensure jobs meet Honda service standards before handover.
• Minimise repeat repairs and comebacks by diagnosing complex faults and guiding technicians.
• Coordinate with service advisors on job status, additional work approvals, and promised delivery times.
• Coordinate with the parts department to avoid delays from parts shortages.
• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness (5S), and safety practices; ensure tools and equipment are in working order.
• Track daily productivity, bays utilisation, and turnaround time, and report to the Service Manager.
• Train and mentor technicians, including support for Honda technical training and certifications.
• Handle warranty jobs in line with manufacturer procedures and documentation.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of two-wheeler workshop experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior technician role.
• Strong diagnostic skills on motorcycles, including fuel-injected models; experience in a Honda or other OEM dealership preferred.
• Ability to lead a team, manage pressure during peak hours, and communicate clearly with staff and customers.
• Basic computer skills for job card and DMS entries.
