Job Type: Full-Time

Office Location: Golfgreen Kolkata (with extensive travel across India and occasional international assignments)

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and responsible Event Site Supervisor to join our event design and execution team.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising the on-site execution of luxury weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and other large-scale event productions.

This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel across India and occasional international travel, along with our design and production teams, to execute events at different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise event fabrication, installation, setup, and dismantling, ensuring everything is executed according to approved designs and drawings.
• Vendor Coordination: Work closely with local vendors, fabricators, carpenters, electricians, painters, decorators, and other technical teams at different event locations.
• Advanced proficiency in using ChatGPT for set design.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design.
• Three years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Team Management: Coordinate with the company's design and execution teams, local labour, and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Design Implementation: Understand basic technical drawings, layouts, and design references, and ensure accurate execution on-site.
• Material Management: Supervise material deliveries, inventory, handling, and installation requirements.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship, finishing, detailing, and overall event presentation.
• Timeline Management: Ensure all fabrication and installation work is completed within strict event deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected on-site challenges and provide practical solutions during event execution.
• Reporting: Provide regular site updates, photographs, progress reports, and material requirements to the project management team.
• Site Safety: Maintain site discipline, workplace safety, and proper coordination among all working teams.
• Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in event production, wedding décor, exhibition setup, interior execution, or a related field will be preferred.
• Good understanding of fabrication materials, carpentry, electrical installation, and event setup processes.
• Ability to read and understand basic architectural drawings and event layouts.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, fabricators, and workers efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
• Must be willing to travel extensively across India and occasionally abroad, sometimes for extended periods.
• Should be physically active, adaptable, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
• Basic knowledge of Hindi and English is preferred.
