Job Description
What you will do
- Find businesses that send goods to the Northeast, such as pharma distributors, FMCG companies, solar and infrastructure firms, and manufacturers
- Call, message and visit these businesses to introduce HRC
- Meet business owners and logistics heads, understand what they ship and how often, and share our rates
- Follow up until the client books their first load with us
- Keep a daily record of calls, meetings and leads in a sheet or CRM
- Stay in touch with existing clients so they keep giving us repeat business
- Share market feedback with the team, such as competitor rates and new clients to target
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics, transport, courier or B2B sales (freshers with strong communication skills can also apply)
- Comfortable making cold calls and visiting offices
- Good spoken Bengali, Hindi and basic English
- Own two-wheeler and smartphone preferred
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduates preferred
