Stock & Inventory Executive (Godown +ERP)

Inventory Control Executive — Bearings Distribution (Burrabazar, Kolkata)

We are a bearings distribution business operating two companies from the same location. We need an Inventory Control Executive to keep physical stock and system stock matched across both.

Key Responsibilities:

• Physical stock verification in the warehouse — bin-wise counting, cycle counts and full verification

• Reconcile physical stock against ERP records and investigate every variance before any adjustment

• Reconcile stock transfers between our two companies, including goods in transit and unbooked transfers

• Maintain and clean the SKU / item master — remove duplicates, fix UOM and description errors

• Prepare purchase, sales, closing stock and variance MIS in Excel

• Record GRN, sales, returns and damage entries accurately in the ERP

• Report discrepancies to management with root cause and corrective action

Godown:

Physical stock verification in our godown -bin-wise counting,cycle counts and full verification.

Requirements:

• 1–4 years in inventory control, stock management or MIS

• Hands-on physical stock counting experience — this is essential, not optional

• Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, data cleaning

• Working knowledge of any ERP (Tally, Oracle, SAP, Ginesys, Zoho or similar)

• Strong numerical accuracy and willingness to work both at a desk and in the warehouse

• Able to commute to Burrabazar daily

Selection Process: Excel test, short practical stock-count exercise, and interview.
