Chef De Partie

Nineteenth May, a premium restaurant and catering brand in Sector 67, Mohali, is hiring an experienced Chef de Partie for its Indian kitchen. Candidates currently working as Senior CDP or Sous Chef may also apply.

The candidate must be highly skilled in North Indian curries, base gravies, finishing and batch consistency, with strong hands-on command of tandoor cooking, kebabs, marinades and Indian breads.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently manage the Indian curry and tandoor sections.

• Maintain recipe, taste, presentation and portion consistency.

• Plan and control mise-en-place for restaurant and catering production.

• Supervise junior kitchen staff and coordinate during busy service.

• Control wastage, storage, hygiene and food-safety standards.

• Support stock checks and communicate daily ingredient requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Indian-kitchen experience in a good restaurant, hotel or catering operation.

• Strong practical knowledge of Indian curries and tandoor is essential.

• Stable work history and professional kitchen discipline.

• Must be available to join immediately or within 7 days.

• Selection will include a practical cooking trial and reference check.

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month, based on experience and practical skill.
