Assistant Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the overall restaurant operations.
• Supervise the restaurant floor and ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Manage and motivate the F&B service team.
• Allocate staff duties and ensure adequate manpower during operations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure excellent guest service and customer satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, grooming, safety, and operational standards.
• Monitor restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in managing billing, POS operations, cash handling, and daily reports.
• Support inventory and stock management and help control wastage.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance management.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Ensure the restaurant maintains the required brand and service standards.

Candidate Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in restaurant/F&B operations.
• Experience in a similar role such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Manager, Senior Captain, or Restaurant Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant floor operations and F&B service.
• Good team-management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
