About the Role:

Asian Banquets is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Decor Executive to manage and execute event décor requirements. The role involves interacting with clients to understand their décor preferences, provide them quotes for décor section and developing décor concepts and designs, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing the execution of décor setups for events.

The ideal candidate should have a good sense of aesthetics, the ability to manage vendors and production teams, and the capability to prepare décor budgets and obtain approvals from management before execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients to understand their décor requirements, theme preferences, and event vision.

• Develop décor concepts, themes, and design proposals suitable for different types of events.

• Prepare décor layouts, mood boards, and design suggestions for client presentations.

• Coordinate with décor vendors and suppliers for materials, props, flowers, lighting, and stage setups.

• Prepare detailed décor budgets and quotations for each event. Negotiation with clients for the décor budget and finalising the deal.

• Obtain approval from management on décor concepts and budgets before finalizing.

• Manage the production and preparation of décor elements required for events.

• Supervise décor setup and dismantling during events to ensure quality and timely execution.

• Ensure décor execution matches the approved design and maintains high aesthetic standards.

• Maintain relationships with décor vendors, fabricators, and suppliers.

• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements:

• Gender: male preferred

• Languages: Good communication skills in Hindi and English required.

• Education: Graduate (any stream); candidates with background in event management, design, or hospitality will be preferred.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in event décor, wedding décor, or event production preferred.

• Personality Traits: Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling vendors and clients professionally.

• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with design tools or presentation tools (such as Canva or PowerPoint) will be an advantage.

Weekend Work: Saturday and Sunday are working days. Weekly off can be taken on any other weekday.
