Job Description
Position: Fire Technician
Job Location: Mumbai
Qualification: HSC + Diploma in Fire and Safety Management
Experience: Fresher or minimum 6 months of relevant experience
- Roles and ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain fire fighting equipment and systems.
- Inspect fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, hose reels, and fire pumps.
- Check fire alarm systems and emergency safety equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all fire safety equipment is in working condition.
- Assist in fire prevention activities and emergency response operations.
- Identify fire hazards and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Ensure fire fighting equipment is accessible and ready for use.
- Assist in conducting fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Maintain daily inspection checklists and fire safety records.
- Follow all company safety rules and site safety procedures.
- Report equipment defects, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with the site safety team during emergencies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fire fighting equipment.
- Maintain discipline and follow the instructions of the site supervisor.
- Support overall fire prevention and emergency preparedness activities.
