IT Support Engineer

Job Description

AST Comm Infotel is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot hardware and networking issues, and assist with dialer and server support.

This is a good opportunity for freshers who want to build their careers in IT infrastructure, networking, Linux servers and call center technology.

Key Responsibilities

Visit client locations to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Provide technical support for VICIdial and call center dialer systems.

Assist with Linux server monitoring, basic troubleshooting, service checks and issue escalation.

Support basic SIP/VoIP connectivity and troubleshoot dialer-related issues under guidance.

Diagnose technical problems remotely and through on-site visits.

Maintain records of client complaints, service requests and resolutions.

Coordinate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.

Understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, IP addresses, DNS, gateways and routers.

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and software installation.

Willingness to learn Linux commands and server administration.

Interest in networking, dialer systems, SIP/VoIP and IT infrastructure.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Willingness to travel to client locations across Mumbai and Thane.

Eligibility

Freshers with a degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field may apply.

Candidates with basic hardware and networking knowledge will be preferred.

A willingness to learn, troubleshoot problems and work independently is essential.
