Job Title: PCB Soldering & BOM Optimization Engineer/Technician and Fitter

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform PCB soldering, component replacement, rework, and basic PCB assembly.
• Identify electronic components and verify part numbers as per the BOM.
• Cross-check BOM part numbers, component values, packages, ratings, and specifications.
• Identify suitable alternative components based on availability, cost, package, and electrical specifications.
• Support BOM optimization and cost reduction activities.
• Check component availability and coordinate with the purchase team for required components.
• Read and understand circuit diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
• Perform through-hole (THT) and SMD soldering/rework.
• Inspect assembled PCBs for soldering defects, component orientation, shorts, and missing components.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering modifications.
• Maintain proper component and PCB records.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of electronic components and their part numbers.
• Hands-on experience with SMD and through-hole soldering.
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
• Knowledge of component packages such as 0603, 0805, SOT-23, SOIC, QFN, etc.
• Basic understanding of voltage, current, power ratings, and component selection.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Position 2: ITI Fitter

• Mechanical fitting and assembly
• Wiring/harness assembly
• Drilling, cutting, mounting and basic fabrication
• Mechanical installation of electrical/electronic assemblies
• Basic inspection and maintenance
• Follow drawings, dimensions and safety procedures
