Job Opening: PPIC Executive / Engineer – Rubber Industry

Location: Vasai

Experience: 3–7 years | Industry: Rubber Manufacturing only

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced PPIC professional to plan and control production and inventory across our rubber mixing, compounding and molding operations.

Production Planning Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, weekly and daily production plans for mixing, compounding and molding (compression/injection/transfer)
• Convert customer orders and forecasts into a Master Production Schedule (MPS)
• Plan batch-wise mixing and compound requirement against molding schedules
• Monitor machine capacity, mould availability and utilization; manage changeovers to reduce downtime
• Track WIP and production vs. plan; escalate delays and drive corrective actions
• Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, tool room and sales to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)

Inventory Control Responsibilities:

• Plan material requirements (MRP) for polymers, carbon black, oils, chemicals and inserts
• Maintain optimum stock levels for raw materials, compounds, WIP and finished goods
• Monitor shelf life and FIFO for rubber compounds and chemicals to avoid scrap/expiry
• Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely procurement and supplier follow-up
• Conduct periodic stock verification, reconcile ERP vs. physical stock and control slow/non-moving items
• Track and report key MIS: inventory turns, OTD, schedule adherence and stock ageing

Requirements:

• Mandatory experience in a rubber manufacturing company (mixing, compounding and molding)
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP and advanced MS Excel
• Strong planning, analytical, coordination and communication skills
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech (Rubber Technology/Mechanical/Production) preferred
