Bakery Assistant

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Bakery Department Assistant to support our bakery team in daily production and operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the bakery team with preparation and production of breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products.
• Weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
• Assist with mixing, baking, decorating, packing, and labeling products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Help with receiving, storing, and organizing bakery ingredients and supplies.
• Support the bakery team during busy production periods.
• Ensure products are handled and stored properly.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Bakery Supervisor/Chef.
• RequirementsPrevious bakery, kitchen, food production, or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of bakery products and ingredients is an advantage.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
