Mechanical Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with an EPC background to manage the design, procurement, execution, testing and commissioning of industrial mechanical systems on a turnkey basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Manage HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, industrial piping, pumps and other mechanical equipment.
• Review design calculations, P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment layouts, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, material procurement and site execution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, as-built documentation and final project handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with an EPC company or turnkey engineering contractor.
• Must have successfully executed 3–4 industrial mechanical projects on a turnkey EPC basis, covering design through commissioning.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chillers, compressors, piping networks and industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience in project planning, cost control, vendor management and site execution.
• Knowledge of MS Project & Ms office
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
