Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled, independent Pastry Chef de Partie to take full ownership of our cake station. You will be responsible for everything from scratch baking to advanced custom decorations. The ideal candidate can handle high-volume daily orders while maintaining premium quality and artistic design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Production: Bake a wide variety of sponges, layers, fillings, and frostings from scratch.
- Advanced Decoration: Independently execute clean masking, sharp edges, intricate piping, fondant work, and custom themed designs.
- Menu & Inventory: Manage stock levels, order ingredients, minimize wastage, and maintain strict food safety standards.
- Consistency: Ensure every cake looks and tastes identical to our brand standards.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of baking science, temperature control, and ingredient behavior.
- Proven portfolio showcasing custom cakes, wedding cakes, or premium pastries.
- Ability to work fast, meet tight deadlines, and solve baking issues independently.
