Logistics Executive

Job Summary:

The Logistics Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers, managing logistics operations, coordinating with transporters, and maintaining documentation. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Plan and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage logistics documentation such as invoices, delivery challans, transport permits, and shipping papers.
• Liaise with transporters, and customers to ensure effective communication and service.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by coordinating stock transfers and returns.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international logistics regulations and company policies.
• Assist in optimizing logistics costs and improving delivery timelines.
• Track and report key performance metrics related to logistics and transport efficiency.
• Resolve any issues or complaints related to delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain records and prepare logistics reports for internal and external audits.
