TIG Welder

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing/fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on various metal components while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with required welding standards.

• Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate TIG welding machines, gas systems, regulators, and related equipment.
• Select appropriate welding parameters, filler materials, shielding gases, and tungsten electrodes.
• Prepare, clean, fit, and align components before welding.
• Produce clean, precise, and defect-free welds according to specifications.
• Inspect welds for cracks, porosity, undercut, distortion, and other defects.
• Use measuring tools and welding gauges to verify dimensions and weld quality.
• Perform grinding, polishing, finishing, and other post-welding activities when required.
• Maintain welding equipment and report any equipment problems or safety hazards.
• Follow company quality procedures, welding standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete production and inspection records as required.
