Stock Market Analyst

* Monitor NSE/BSE corporate announcements.

* Track company press releases and investor-relations updates.

* Monitor promoter transactions and important regulatory developments.

* Verify information using reliable/primary sources before reporting.

* Send urgent market alerts quickly and accurately.

* Maintain a daily database of important news.

* Prepare end-of-day market-news reports.

• Conduct detailed pre-IPO company valuations using appropriate valuation methodologies.
• Analyze company financial statements, business models, revenue growth, profitability, and cash flows.
• Perform valuation using methods such as DCF, Comparable Companies Analysis, Precedent Transactions, and other relevant approaches.
• Conduct fundamental analysis of companies and evaluate their financial and business performance.
• Research industries, sectors, competitors, market trends, and growth opportunities.
• Analyze equity shares, stock-market fundamentals, financial ratios, and valuation multiples.
• Prepare financial models, valuation reports, investment notes, and management presentations.
• Assist in analyzing IPO-related information, including business prospects, financial performance, valuation, and risks.
• Track listed and unlisted companies to identify valuation trends and investment opportunities.
• Present findings and valuation assumptions clearly to senior management/investment teams.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of financial data, models, and research reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Good knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling.
• Practical understanding of pre-IPO valuation is highly preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of the equity share market and stock-market concepts.
• Knowledge of DCF, comparable company analysis, valuation multiples, and ratio analysis.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good command of MS Excel; experience with financial modeling is preferred.
• Strong research, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and business information and convert it into meaningful insights.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of financial data.
