Job description of DNC SHOPlink Support Engineer

Support Engineer provides technical assistance and support for DNC and SHOPlink software and related systems, ensuring efficient and effective use by engineers and designers, troubleshooting issues, and improving OEE workflows. 

Technical Support:

·        Troubleshoot and resolve DNC And Slink software issues reported by users. 

·        Provide guidance and training on DNC AND SHOPLINK software and best practices. 

·        Assist with DNC AND SHOPLINK software installations, upgrades, and configurations. 

Workflow Optimization:

·        Identify and address bottlenecks in DNC AND SHOPLINK workflows. 

·        Develop and implement solutions to improve DNC AND SHOPLINK efficiency and accuracy. 

·        Evaluate and recommend new DNC AND SHOPLINK tools and technologies. 

Collaboration:

·        Work closely with engineering and design teams to understand their needs and challenges. 

·        Collaborate with RnD and other departments to ensure seamless DNC AND SHOPLINK integration. 

·        Participate in DNC AND SHOPLINK project planning and execution. 

Problem Solving:

·        Analyse technical issues and develop effective solutions. 

·        Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future problems. 

·        Document and track DNC AND SHOPLINK issues and resolutions. 

Other Responsibilities

• Maintain and update DNC AND SHOPLINK standards and procedures. 
• Participate in DNC AND SHOPLINK software testing and quality assurance. 
• Monitor and optimize DNC AND SHOPLINK system performance. 

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL server DNC AND SHOPLINK software (e.g., DNC AND SHOPLINK,). 
• Strong understanding of DNC AND SHOPLINK principles and workflows. 

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation or computer or IT engineering, or a related field is often preferred. 
• Relevant experience in DNC AND SHOPLINK support or engineering roles is highly valued.
