Assembly Enggineer SPM

The candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of SPM machines and industrial automation machines.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) as per drawings and assembly requirements.
• Mechanical assembly of machine structures, fixtures, cylinders, linear guides, slides, sensors and other machine components.
• Perform SPM machine assembly, fitting and alignment.
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments for machine assembly and fitting.
• Understand mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.
• Assist in machine wiring, pneumatic connections and basic machine integration.
• Machine installation and commissioning at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly and installation-related issues.
• Ensure proper machine alignment, quality and finishing before dispatch and installation.
• Coordinate with design, electrical and production teams during machine assembly.
• Travel to customer locations for SPM machine installation and commissioning when required.
• Required SkillsITI / Diploma / Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of machine assembly, fitting, hand tools and mechanical components.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatic components and machine installation will be an advantage.
• Experience in industrial automation, SPM or manufacturing machines will be preferred.
• Freshers with good mechanical assembly skills can also be considered.
