Job Description
Commis 3 – Trainee / Helper
Salary: ₹12,000–₹15,000/month
Responsibilities:
- Vegetable cutting and basic mise en place
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Preparing basic ingredients
- Portioning and packing
- Assisting Commis 1 & 2
- Following hygiene and food-safety procedures
- Supporting dishwashing/cleaning when required
Experience: 0–1 year
Commis 2 – Junior Cook
Salary: ₹15,000–₹18,000/month
Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients independently
- Cooking basic gravies, rice and accompaniments
- Supporting biryani preparation
- Preparing items according to standard recipes
- Maintaining portion sizes and food quality
- Monitoring stock of kitchen ingredients
- Supervising Commis 3 during basic preparation
Experience: 1–2 years
Commis 1 – Senior Cook
Salary: ₹18,000–₹23,000/month
Responsibilities:
- Independently handling assigned kitchen sections
- Preparing biryani and other main menu items as per SOP
- Maintaining consistency in taste and portion
- Supervising Commis 2 & 3
- Checking preparation and ingredient quality
- Managing daily mise en place
- Minimizing food wastage
- Maintaining hygiene and kitchen discipline
- Coordinating with the outlet manager for production requirements
Experience: 2–4+ years
