Job Description
About Kinetic Kids Club:
Kinetic Kids Club is an upcoming premium, nature-inspired movement and sensory play sanctuary for children aged 3–12 in Pune. Built around Scandinavian minimalism and unstructured physical literacy, we blend open-ended play with coach-led movement labs — Kinetic Core (non-competitive gymnastics, calisthenics, and power play) and Neural Lab (creative and sensory activities).
Role Overview:
We're looking for a high-energy, ambitious recent MBA graduate (or final-semester student available part-time) to work directly with the Founder as a Founder's Associate. For the first six months, you'll be the operational engine behind our pre-launch execution — owning vendor sourcing, site coordination, hiring funnels, and early marketing buzz.
On a successful launch (targeted February 2027), you'll step into the full-time Centre Operations Lead role, running day-to-day facility management, the front-desk team, and the end-to-end customer experience.
This is a highly visible, front-of-house role. You'll be one of the first faces of the brand — with parents, children, coaches, vendors, and partner schools — so presence, warmth, and polish matter as much as execution.
Key Responsibilities — Pre-Launch (Months 1–6)
- Vendor & procurement management: Research, evaluate, and negotiate with local fabricators, safety-mat manufacturers, carpentry workshops (birch/rubberwood), and equipment suppliers to keep the fit-out on budget.
- Real estate & site coordination: Scout, visit, and shortlist commercial properties in Baner/Balewadi; coordinate site visits and contractor follow-ups.
- Hiring pipeline & talent coordination: Source certified physical-education trainers, gymnastics coaches, and creative trainers across local networks; run initial screenings and schedule founder interviews.
- Marketing, social & community buzz: Drive early brand awareness on Instagram and LinkedIn; run organic social campaigns, capture pre-launch behind-the-scenes content, and lead school/preschool outreach for founding memberships.
- Founder support: Be the central point of contact for daily operational, administrative, and research tasks, keeping roadmap milestones on track.
Key Responsibilities — Post-Launch (Centre Operations Lead)
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, floor-safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
- Manage customer check-ins, slot bookings (CRM), and parent inquiries via WhatsApp and front desk.
- Lead and schedule floor marshals, reception staff, and coaching rosters.
- Track monthly membership renewals, open-play footfall, and private birthday-event bookings.
Who You Are:
- Education: Recent MBA / PGDM graduate (or final-semester student available part-time), ideally with a specialisation in Operations, General Management, or Marketing.
- Operator's toolkit: Strong negotiation skills, structured project management, creative problem-solving, and clear written and verbal communication.
- People-facing presence: You genuinely enjoy people. You build rapport quickly, put children and parents at ease, and represent the brand with confidence and polish — in person, on camera, and at community events.
- Professional, on-brand presentation: You take pride in how you show up, and your personal presentation fits our premium, design-led aesthetic. You're comfortable being the face of the brand in content and in the room.
- Warm but assertive: Friendly and collaborative, but able to hold your ground — negotiating firmly with vendors, holding contractors to timelines, and making the call when the founder isn't there.
- Mindset: High ownership, proactive hustle, and real excitement about building a consumer brand from 0 to 1.
- Content-savvy (a plus): A basic eye for design and video (Canva, Instagram Reels) to fuel community engagement.
- Availability: Pune-based and able to travel locally within Baner/Balewadi for vendor meetings and site visits.
Why Join Us:
- Direct founder mentorship: End-to-end exposure to building and scaling a physical consumer-experience business.
- A clear leadership path: From executive intern to Centre Operations Lead within six months.
- Real impact: Help build a modern, nature-centric play space that redefines childhood physical literacy.
- Grow as we grow: Stock options (with a vesting period) once the centre is live.
