About NL Healthcare

NL Healthcare is a Maharashtra-based medical equipment trading and hospital turnkey projects company. We supply and install modular OTs, ICUs, CSSD, cath labs, medical gas pipelines and complete hospital equipment for government and private hospitals.

Role Summary

You will lead procurement for all our projects and trading orders. This means finding the right OEMs and vendors, comparing their technical and commercial offers, negotiating the best price and terms, and making sure every item meets hospital norms. You will work closely with our tender, projects and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Negotiation

• Source medical equipment and hospital infrastructure items from OEMs, distributors and vendors
• Float enquiries, collect quotations and prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets
• Negotiate price, delivery, warranty, CMC/AMC and payment terms
• Raise purchase orders and follow up until delivery
• Build rate contracts with regular vendors to keep costs low

Vendor Assessment

• Evaluate new vendors and OEMs on product quality, certifications (CE, ISO, CDSCO), service support and delivery record
• Maintain an approved vendor list and review vendor performance regularly
• Collect OEM authorisation letters and compliance documents for tenders

Technical & Norms Support

• Check equipment specifications against tender requirements and project needs
• Prepare equipment lists and BOQs for new hospital setups using NABH and IPHS norms
• Support the tender team with spec comparisons, compliance sheets and landed-cost estimates
• Advise the projects team on equipment selection for modular OT, ICU, CSSD and other departments

Coordination & Records

• Coordinate with the projects team on delivery schedules and site readiness
• Coordinate with accounts on vendor payments and advance terms
• Maintain procurement records, price history and quotation files

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering (must)
• MBA / PGDM in Hospital Management, Operations or Supply Chain, or MHA, will be an added advantage
• 4–7 years of experience in procurement or techno-commercial roles with a medical equipment company, hospital turnkey company or hospital biomedical department
• Good knowledge of medical equipment OEMs and the Indian market
• Understanding of hospital infrastructure setup (modular OT, ICU, CSSD, MGPS)
• Working knowledge of NABH and IPHS norms
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good with MS Excel, email and comparison sheets
• Speaks English, Hindi and Marathi

Product Training to Staff

• Understand each product we buy: its features, specifications, accessories and correct use
• Arrange product training from OEMs for our sales, tender, projects and service teams
• Train our staff on new products and prepare simple product notes and comparison sheets for them
• Keep brochures, catalogues, user manuals and training material organised and up to date

Service Support

• Coordinate with OEMs for installation, demo, and hospital user training
• Support the service team on breakdown calls, warranty claims and spare parts
• Track warranty, CMC and AMC terms for every item purchased
• Follow up with OEMs and vendors until service complaints are closed
