Packaging Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Packaging Machine Operator to oversee the filling and packaging operations for our Silicone, Hybrid, and Polyurethane chemical and sealant production lines. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on mechanical operation with strong troubleshooting skills and basic computer literacy for machine integration and digital logging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, calibrate, and operate automated/semi-automated filling and packaging machinery for sealants and viscous chemical products.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and operational issues quickly on the packaging line to minimise downtime.
• Operate computer-integrated machine interfaces (HMIs/PLCs) for setting fill volumes, batch tracking, and monitoring production metrics.
• Maintain strict quality control on package sealing, weights, labelling, and batch coding.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep operational logs updated on software systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating packaging or filling machinery in a chemical, sealant, adhesive, or liquid manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and comfortable working with computerised machine interfaces/systems.
• Knowledge of handling viscous materials (silicones, polyurethanes, hybrids) and cartridge/sausage filling machines is a strong advantage.
