About the RoleArgos is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant Assistant to support the Finance & Accounts Department with daily accounting operations, financial records, invoice management, and basic bookkeeping.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting records and financial entries.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices, bills, and payment records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain expense records.
• Manage purchase bills, sales invoices, and supporting documents.
• Assist with GST-related documentation and basic TDS entries.
• Maintain records in Tally, Excel, or other accounting software.
• Coordinate with internal departments for bills, payments, and financial information.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting data and proper documentation.
• Support the accounts team with daily reporting and other assigned tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, or relevant accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience: 0–2 years; freshers with relevant knowledge may apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally or other accounting software.
• Basic understanding of GST, invoices, and bank reconciliation.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Responsible, organised, and capable of meeting deadlines.
