Store Keeper

Core Responsibilities:-

• Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock records in digital registers or inventory management software.
• Organization & Storage: Arrange items systematically (using methods like FIFO—First In, First Out) to ensure safe custody and easy retrieval.
• Issuing & Dispatch: Issue materials or stock to internal departments or clients based on approved requisition notes.
• Stock Audits: Conduct regular daily, weekly, or monthly physical stock checks and reconcile them with system balances.
• Reordering & Procurement: Monitor minimum and maximum stock limits and initiate purchase requisitions to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Keep the store and warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (specialized technical or vocational training preferred).
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, MS Excel, and familiarity with inventory/warehouse software (such as TALLY).
• Math & Organization: Good numerical skills for counting, weighing, and verifying invoices, paired with high attention to detail.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical movement, lifting, and loading of goods using tools like trolleys or forklifts.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate smoothly with vendors, delivery drivers, and internal teams
