Job Description
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform routine audits, and analyze fast- or slow-moving parts to minimize waste and obsolescence. [1, 2]
- Vendor Management: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). [1]
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise department staff, including parts counter associates and warehouse workers. [1, 2]
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with service advisors, mechanics, and workshop managers to ensure parts are ready for repairs and vehicle turnarounds. [1, 2]
- Financial Oversight: Set monthly sales targets, manage departmental budgets, track billing accuracy, and drive profitability. [1, 3]
