## Job Description – Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-Time  

**Working Hours:** 12 hours per day

### Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant to support the company's day-to-day accounting and administrative activities. The candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

### Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.

- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expenses.

- Prepare and maintain customer and supplier ledgers.

- Assist with bank reconciliation and payment tracking.

- Maintain invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.

- Follow up on outstanding customer payments and supplier balances.

- Assist with GST-related records, purchase and sales data, and documentation.

- Maintain Excel sheets and prepare daily or periodic reports.

- Coordinate with management and other departments for accounting information.

- Ensure records are accurate, organized and updated on time.

### Candidate Requirements

- B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

- Knowledge of Tally, GST and MS Excel preferred.

- Freshers with relevant qualifications and practical skills may apply; experienced candidates are preferred.

- Good numerical accuracy, honesty and attention to detail.

- Ability to work full-time at the company's Visakhapatnam office.

### Salary

₹20,000 per month, based on qualifications and suitability.
