Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities     HR Philosophy and Roadmap 
•    Work closely with relevant business stakeholders and participate in the business planning process to develop strategy and roadmap for the BU; Ensure alignment of the HR strategy to business priorities.
•    Represent the business perspective and contribute to the devising the vision, roadmap, operating model, and strategic initiatives for the BU HR function.
•    Formulate long term strategic plans for the BU HR function based on business priorities and ensure all HR processes are aligned to the same.
HR Policy
•    Provide guidance for formulating business specific BU HR Policies and systems and ensure adherence to guidelines set by the Group.
•    Maintain relevance and make periodic changes in the line with the changing business dynamics 
Organization Design    •    Partner with BU HR Head to ensure BU structure enables long term strategy and delivers business goals.
•    Lead the Job evaluation exercise at a BU level under the guidance of BU HR Head; Implement Band & Grade structure with various talent process and ensure compliance. 
•    Participate in the Strategic Workforce Planning exercise and provide inputs on the long-term talent requirements of the BU considering the changing organizational objectives, labor market dynamics and current talent pool.

Organization Sustainability     Adani Values and Culture 
•    Promote Adani core values, vision, and mission across the business; Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and outlined ethical guidelines.
•    Support in defining a favourable cultural profile; Facilitate culture building and mass scale transformations initiatives at the BU level. 
Change Management 
•    Identify and build a business case for change and present it to the relevant stakeholders.
•    Provide business insights on the change management strategy and change management programs and establishment of change management program office at a BU level.

Integrated Talent Management    
Capability Building 
•    Gain a thorough understanding of departmental needs in terms of capabilities and existing gaps.
•    Provide inputs for customisation of the existing training program architecture to suit business needs.

Performance Management Systems 
•    Provide inputs to Performance Management team during the program design and review phase basis business feedback.
•    Participated in the Agenda Setting Conference for the BU and supported formulation of KRA’s for all service functions basis the business strategy.

Total Rewards 
•    Review and provide insights on reward parameters, reward policy and R&R programs deployed at a BU level from a business strategic perspective. 
•    Continuously assess prevalent market practices and trends and integrate best practices into Adani’s Compensation & Benefits structure.

Employee Engagement and Connect
•    Ensure employee queries are addressed promptly and escalate to senior management where applicable

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field
•    Higher degree in relevant field is preferable.
Experiences: 
•    Minimum 10 to 15 years of work experience with minimum 3 years in a similar role in at least two units/ organizations 
•    Experience in a similar conglomerate business/ industry as Adani, is necessarily required (Ports/ Power/ Resources) or experience in industries like FMCG, Financial Services, Telecom.
•    Strong knowledge of Talent Management tools and techniques.
•    Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders – internal as well as external
