TA Professional, Program Management & Transformation

About the role

The Business Analyst Professional supports analysis and design under senior guidance, contributing to discovery, stakeholder engagement and problem definition. They document requirements, maintain traceability, assist with process design and backlog refinement, and support testing and defect resolution. They may lead those activities for smaller less complex initiatives. The role develops BA skills, embraces coaching and promotes continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

1.Supports discovery and analysis activities to understand business problems, customer needs and the current as-is experience, contributing to clear problem statements and value opportunities.
2.Works with more senior analysts to break down scope into high and low level requirements, facilitating discussions and ensuring requirements are captured accurately and consistently.
3.Contributes to the design of end to end business processes, customer journeys and operating model changes under supervision, including identifying simple unhappy paths and edge cases.
4.Documents business, functional, non functional and data requirements using BA standards and ensures they remain traceable through delivery.
5.Supports feasibility assessments and options analysis by gathering relevant information, mapping impacts and summarising findings for review by more senior BAs.
6.Works collaboratively with product, engineering, service design and operational stakeholders to support alignment and a shared understanding of scope and requirements.
7.Assists with the quality assurance of analysis and design artefacts, updating documentation and ensuring consistency within frameworks and BT standards.
8.Provides input to MVP,MMP recommendations, delivery phasing and backlog refinement, guided by Senior BAs or BA Specialists.
9.Supports the investigation of defects and non compliance with requirements, helping teams understand root causes and recovery options.
10.Actively develops skills in Business Analysis, agile delivery and business design methods, seeking feedback, coaching and opportunities to improve.
