Field Deployment Engineer

We are looking for a Field Deployment Engineer to manage the installation and deployment of Mindlabs’ IoT monitoring devices at customer locations. 

The role involves travelling to customer sites, carrying out installations, ensuring devices are functioning correctly, and completing all required deployment documentation. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Install and commission Mindlabs devices at customer locations as per defined SOPs. 
• Ensure correct device placement, mounting, probe positioning, and connectivity. 
• Perform basic device troubleshooting and resolve installation-related issues. 
• Verify that installed devices are communicating with the Mindlabs platform. 
• Capture installation photographs and maintain accurate installation records. 
• Update device and installation details in the required portal/system. 
• Coordinate with customer/site teams during installation. 
• Support device replacement, relocation, and re-installation activities when required. 
• Escalate technical issues that require support from the internal technical team. 
• Ensure assigned installations are completed within the committed timelines. 

Requirements 

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or a related field. 
• 0–1 years of experience in field installation, technical support, IoT, electronics, instrumentation, or a similar role. 
• Basic understanding of electronic devices, sensors, and connectivity. 
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills. 
• Comfortable travelling to customer locations. 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple field assignments. 
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Role Ownership 

The Field Deployment Engineer will have end-to-end ownership of assigned installations, from site preparation and physical installation to device verification, documentation, and deployment closure.
