Job Description
Cashier – Job Responsibilities (Restaurant)
1. Handle cash, card, UPI and other payments accurately.
2. Generate and close KOT/BOT and customer bills.
3. Check bills for correct items, prices, discounts and taxes.
4. Maintain daily cash and payment records.
5. Handle POS billing system and troubleshoot basic billing issues.
6. Verify cash in hand with system closing at the end of the shift.
7. Coordinate with service team, kitchen and management regarding billing issues.
8. Process refunds, cancellations and discounts only with proper approval.
9. Maintain daily sales and payment reports.
10. Ensure proper cash handover to the authorised person.
11. Maintain confidentiality of sales and financial information.
12. Follow restaurant SOPs and cash-handling policies.
