Transport Operations & Load Supply Manager

Load24.in is a technology-driven logistics marketplace connecting Shippers, Transporters, Fleet Owners, Truck Owners and Drivers on a single platform for load posting, truck availability, matching, booking and trip coordination.

We are looking for an experienced Transport Operations & Load Supply Manager who has strong practical knowledge of the Indian transportation and freight market and an established network of transporters, fleet owners and truck owners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Load Supply & Business Development

• Identify and develop regular sources of transportation loads.
• Build relationships with transporters, brokers, fleet operators, manufacturers, traders and shippers.
• Bring genuine and regular loads onto Load24.in.
• Encourage existing transporter networks and WhatsApp groups to shift their load posting activity to Load24.in.
• Develop repeat business and long-term commercial relationships.

2. Transporter & Fleet Network

• Build and manage a strong network of transporters and fleet owners.
• Onboard transporters on Load24.in and ensure they become active users.
• Maintain regular communication with key transport partners.
• Understand fleet availability, routes, vehicle types and operating areas.

3. Load & Truck Matching

• Coordinate between available loads and suitable trucks.
• Ensure quick response to newly posted loads.
• Assist the booking team with suitable vehicle identification.
• Coordinate rate negotiation between shipper/transporter and truck owner.
• Resolve operational issues affecting successful booking.

4. Team Management

• Lead and guide the Transporter Acquisition and Load Supply team.
• Train junior executives on transport market practices, routes, freight rates and negotiation.
• Set daily and monthly targets.
• Review team performance and maintain daily activity reports.

5. Market & Rate Intelligence

• Maintain practical knowledge of freight rates across major routes.
• Monitor market demand, truck availability and seasonal fluctuations.
• Provide management with information about important routes, vehicle demand and pricing trends.
• Help Load24 develop competitive pricing and commercial policies.

6. Operations & Escalation

• Handle important transporter/shipper issues and urgent loads.
• Coordinate with Booking, Trip Operations, KYC and Accounts teams.
• Support successful execution from load posting to vehicle placement and dispatch.
• Reduce cancellations, delays and failed bookings.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in transport, logistics, freight, load supply or transportation operations.
• Strong understanding of the Indian road transportation market.
• Existing network of transporters, fleet owners, truck owners or shippers will be highly preferred.
• Experience in load sourcing, truck placement, freight negotiation and transporter management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets and online platforms.
• Ability to work with targets and manage a team.
• Should be commercially minded and capable of developing business independently.

• Loads successfully matched

• Cancellation reduction
• Revenue/GMV contribution
• Team productivity

Important: Registration numbers alone will not be considered the primary performance measure. The focus will be on active users, genuine loads and completed transactions.

“I understand the transport market, I know how loads are sourced, I know where trucks are available, I can negotiate freight rates, and I can build a working transporter network.”

A candidate with strong industry relationships and proven load-supply experience will be given preference over someone with only generic sales experience.

Compensation

Salary: As per experience and industry profile
