Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the company's accounting function from day-to-day bookkeeping and party ledger reconciliation to finalization of financial statements, statutory compliance, banking, and taxation (including GST). The role also involves coordination on legal/contractual documentation related to accounts and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts (Tally/ERP) and ensure accurate, up-to-date entries
• Prepare and finalize financial statements P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
• Manage party ledgers: vendor and client account reconciliation, ageing analysis, and follow-up on outstanding payments/receivables
• Handle end-to-end GST compliance GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B, and timely return filing
• Manage TDS deduction, payment, and return filing (24Q/26Q); handle other statutory tax compliances
• Oversee banking operations fund flow management, bank reconciliation, LC/BG documentation, loan/working capital account coordination
• Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) for audits and assessments
• Liaise with legal counsel/consultants on account-related legal matters, contracts, and compliance documentation
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other applicable statutory/regulatory requirements
• Support budgeting, MIS reporting, and cost control initiatives
• Supervise and mentor junior accounts staff
